This is a view of the Riverside Court and downtown Riverside area from when we were there on a wrongful termination lawsuit. The company’s explanation of why the job termination occurred did not make sense. Their primary witness had a brain malfunction that caused him to lose his license. Sometimes the facts in these cases are plain weird.
Explanations for job terminations that do not make sense do not necessarily amount to wrongful termination. Wrongful termination requires that the employee affirmatively complain about something illegal, refuse to do something illegal, or their job termination is due to a protected right such as pregnancy disability leave, or a protected characteristic like their race. The conduct has to be illegal opposed to just sloppy work.
There is a right and a wrong way to do things. If your employer wants you to make forms that look like this and are unsecured so you can cover something up give us a call if you are covering up electric so close to the finished grade it violates the building code.
If your employer just wants you to do bad work that is not a case. We are here for employees who are subjected to subpar working conditions. Subpar management can lead to a lack of proper payment of wages, a failure to properly investigate employment discrimination, workplace injuries, and the retention of employees who make your life miserable.
